When you get on a bus, you have to pay cash. If you tell your destination, bus driver tell the fare.

There are no announcement in the bus. You have to know the location. If you don't know the location where you want to go, you should sit on seat near bus driver and ask to tell you by the bus driver.

New Zealand trains are to see view and they are slower than Japan trains. So, New Zealand people don't use to commute. The railway in Wellington. Cable car in Wellington climbs hill where we can look around.

When you want to get on tazi, you have to call or geｔ on from taxi stand. You can't get on a taxi, even if you raise your hand in a street.

Crazy Festival

CRAZY FESTIVAL

Main event of this festival is "Owatari". Men wear same clothes top and under. They walk shouting in strange voice. Also they have fishes and beans on the tray and throw them at ground or people. There are many injuried people by the action. So people who take part in it for the first time have to wear helmet.




This festival held "Taimatsu Parade" in night. They walk and shout "fire! fire!!" having taimatsu. Once, they walked all night long and forced to take part in this festival. This festival is just crazy!! It helds for two days. However, local people who join this festival decrease every year and contents of this festival is changing such as cutting festival's term.
